Lesson of the day: Don't give up too easily.

I planted some avocado seeds in pots about 6 months ago. Nothing happened. I almost threw them away, but didn't have anything useful to do with the pots and soil.

Well, guess what happened. When I got back from a holiday in NZ ... three out of ten had sprouted!! And now, five have shown signs of life.
